Helichrysum italicum, a member of the Asteraceae plant family, is one of the most miraculous and powerful healing plants. It is commonly known as Immortelle. It is native to the Mediterranean region and the Balkans, where it has been used for its many medicinal properties for thousands of years. It is best known for its regenerative properties and the ability to promote wound healing, making it a popular ingredient in cosmetic anti-age products.
In the first half of the 20th century, Immortelle flourished in Slovenia as well. Natural habitats have also been recorded in the Dragonja Valley.
Dragonja's Immortelle biodynamic Helichrysum italicum grows in the Valley of the Dragonja River (Slovenian Istria). The lowest part of the Dragonja River has been protected since 1990 as a natural monument. On my family's Biodynamic Farm Dragonja − Oljčni gaj, which is also the seat of Biodynamic Association Ajda Istra, I grow Immortelle plant − Helichrysum italicum − according to basic biodynamic principles and methods in order to protect and respect the environment as well as to encourage biodiversity.
The farm Oljčni gaj has been awarded the highest and the strictest standard for biodynamic agriculture worldwide − the Demeter certificate. Biodynamic farming is certified by Demeter and guarantees higher than organic standards and sustainable agriculture. The farm offers Demeter quality products: extra virgin olive oil, olive leaf tea, finely ground olive leaves, Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) tea and Immortelle cosmetics.

The name Helichrysum is derived from the Greek terms helios meaning sun and chrysos meaning gold. The name in various European languages − Immortelle (in French) Everlasting (in English), Perpetuino and Semprevivo (in Italian), Siempreviva (in Spanish) − makes reference to the "eternal flower" because of its flowers that never wither, not even when dried.
In cosmetics, Helichrysum italicum essential oil is renowned for its regenerative, anti-aging properties and skin healing effects, and is often called "elixir of youth" or "NATURAL BOTOX". It helps smooth both skin tone and texture, it also reduces the appearance of wrinkles. One of the reasons Immortelle essential oil is so praised and precious is because it takes approx. 1 ton of immortelle to produce just 1 kg of essential oil.

Immortelle essential oil has a powerful regenerating effect. 8. Organic Palmarosa essential oil (Cymbopogon Martinii Leaf Oil)
has antiseptic, anti-fungal, analgesic, anti-anxiety, antibacterial, antidepressant, antifungal, anti-infective, anti-inflammatory properties, has skin-regenerative and tissue healing capacity, in skin care is used to treat skin problems like dry skin, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. It has a floral scent, reminiscent of rose due to the high levels of geraniol. Its scent calms and clears the mind. It has moisturizing effect, accelerates cell renewal and regulates sebum secretion, making it suitable for various skin types and skin irregularities, especially for dry skin. Immortelle cream is suitable for all skin types, but especially for cracked, sensitive, rough and very dry skin. It has a beneficial effect on damaged and inflamed skin - it regenerates, nourishes, protects and soothes the skin. Suitable for face and body.
The cream contains homemade infused immortelle oil, which has a benevolent effect on dry and irritated skin. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, thus helping with various skin problems. It helps prevent stretch marks, restore postpartum abdominal skin and improves the appearance of scars.
Immortelle essential oil of Demeter quality provides an additional regenerative effect.
The synergy of beeswax, extra virgin coconut oil and unrefined shea butter forms a protective film on the skin, protecting it from cold and excessive drying, in addition it soothes the skin.

add a few drops to your facial, serum, or moisturizer;
in an evaporator or humidifier: 1-2 drops;

IMPORTANT: When applied to the skin without rinsing, the concentration of essential oil in the final product (if mixed with vegetable oil, for example) should not exceed 0.1% or 0.5% for the products we wash off.
